BROWNS SUMMIT, North Carolina â€"
The Guilford County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a horse was found dead in Browns Summit.

Around 9 a.m. on September 21, the owner of a white Arabian horse reported it missing from a home on Old Reidsville Road.

On Tuesday, September 26, the owner of the horse reported that it had been found dead on a rural portion of a neighbor's property.

"The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is seeking any information from the

public that could aid in the death investigation of the horse. The cause of
death is unknown and under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and Guilford
County Animal Control," a press release said.
