WFMY News 2 Winterfest will begin its 5th season in the cultural heart of Downtown Greensboro. With construction set to begin on LeBauer Park, the outdoor skate rink will relocate to The Railyard at "South End", a 170 space parking lot developed by Momentum Development Partners. Popular features include the Berico Fuels Ice Slide, Rice Scion Skate Shed, Friday/Saturday Night Disco, ice rink webcam and a kid�s play snow area and specially programmed themed events. The 2015 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships will also host special events at the Downtown ice rink in preparation for the 2015 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships at the coliseum (January 17-25, 2015).

Sponsors include WFMY News 2 as the title sponsor, Downtown Greensboro Inc. and the Downtown Residents� Association.

The rink and all activities are scheduled to be open November 20, 2014 through January 31, 2015. The Railyard is located at 106 Barnhardt St. (2 blocks from Natty Greene's on South Elm St.)
