I know a lot of women learning to weld, fix cars and becoming mechanical engineers. I know a female contractor. There are also a lot of men who teach or go into nursing. People evolve to.do what fits their interests.

Roofer , carpenter, mechanic, electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, etc all make very good money don't have the name of Man in title and hardly no women in those fields. Women's brains and bodies are different that's why a mediocre man in women's sports will dominate. Two year degree in nursing = $30 or more an hour

Yesterday I met with a manufacturing company, but they also are engaged in getting young people more engaged in manufacturing So I asked them: 'So how many of those students that are signing up and want to do this, how many are women?' And they said, 'Well, there, I know there's at least 13%' or something. It was a low number. And you had mentioned trying to engage more women in manufacturing. I'm just wondering if just the name manufacturing sounds like a guy? And how can we get more - certainly there's a lot of room for women - what are you doing to make that happen.

Her question begins at 52:23...

She obviously said nothing about sexism. Her point is that manufacturing is stereotypically (sorry for the big word) considered a man's job, and made a passing comment that part of the reason for few women in manufacturing could be because of the stereotype.

And she's not really wrong. How many male doctors do you think we would have if, instead of "doctor," the job was called "mother?"
