Do not fish buffalo creek. Its polluted all along its course. It runs through the neighborhood my mom lived in. We counted 14 recent deaths in the neighborhood, all due to cancer, including my mom. We think it is due to the waterway. It runs through the old trash dump, and big old business have been curiously close to it for many years.

Hey! I’m new to the Greensboro area and was wondering if anyone fishes this creek. It’s just across from the road my house so it would be nice to have a good fishing spot so close! How is the fishing in the lakes around here?
