The lies come from Jeff Collins of West Yadkin. My final word is this, could league be run a little smoother? Yes without a doubt, Has anyone put money in there pocket? **** No and that the facts!

Ewilkes-card-4life / eddie, the bottom line is this, noone has a problem with sertoma, they have a problem with the way things are handled (money & insurance). Be careful because you just might not be sponsored by sertoma. It is called Yadkinville Sertoma, not Wilkes Sertoma ! There are more than just 3 that has a say so in this club, including ME!!! You better start arranging more raffles!!!

What the Alleghany and Yadkin guys are doing is what their County Commisioners/BOE asked them to do. GET PROOF as to why they want out of the league and why Sertoma is not a good partnership for them! They have said over and over that they want what is right for the kids and the program, not to ruin one man. And by the way....its NOT his money. It is money that anyone who has been to the games has given to support the youth football program, not to pad someones pocket. The money is supposed to buy ALL equipment needed for each program, which it has not been used for obviously or this wouldnt be happening right now. WAKE UP!

There is two sides to every storey what the Alleghany, and Yadkin County guys are hiding is the fact that they have or are attempting to ruin a mans name by Auditing him and forcing to show where his money has been going which is none of there buisness. That money belongs to the Sertoma Club they can do with it what ever they want I could care less what they do with it. What these guys are doing is nonthing more than just plain evil. Why go behind a mans back and ham string him by failing to tell other athorative figurers what is going on, what is wrong with making what we all ready have better?

I have no idea why but that was what the raffle was used for 2 years ago.

There is no need for anybody to worry about this matter in Wilkes it is done and over with the superintendent him self at that which was Laws, no Hemerick said them selves Sertoma is the only recongnized league in this county. There are two guys responsible for stering all this up and instigateing it Kevin Spurling from Alleghany, and Jeff Collins from West Yadkin. As far as equipment goes ours is fine the uniforms was bought by East Wilkes youth football for the 7th and 8th the black helements the midgets have been wearing since "09 - 010".

EWfan tell me why you had to have a raffle to get new helmets, When they take up the gate and are supposed to supply equipment as needed?

I know for a fact helmets at East were bought with money from a raffle - in plain engish - PARENTS MONEY! NOT SERTOMA MONEY !

HEELS, apprently you are play a major role in Sertoma evident by your comments. You guys may make the proper changes necessary this upcoming season (WHICH IS GREAT), but why did it take something like this in order for you guys to do what is right???? For way too long, someones pocket has gotten fatter at these kids expense. I hope and pray the league does what is right!! I personally have no problem with Sertoma itself....however I do have problems with the way its been managed in the past!!!! I can honeslty say though, it is very doubtful that you will be getting any cash from anyone in the future. Guarantee every dime you take in from Wilkes County will be in the form of a check and a receipt will be given, or you wont be given a dime. Happy Footballin' to everyone!

If you have kids that are stuck playing SERTOMA check to make sure they have an Up-to-Date helmet, because most of the teams have helmets that are older then 10 years old and the SERTOMA reps. have not bought equipment like they should be.

ARE KIDS SAFETY NEEDS TO COME 1ST, before someone taking are money and not doing WHAT IS BEST FOR THE KIDS!!!!

Here is a question for the people that make the decisions, If your teams got to keep their equipment, would you get out of Sertoma? That could be a possibility if the right people was asked. You did pay for them through gate money!

The link to youtube is not working below (wonder why) but I went there and its still on youtube. Check the alleghany government site listed by sloan. Its the whole meeting with the commissioners. Sounds like they are going to find the truth!

heels0509--you are sadly mistaken if you think there is no brown bag money. I heard the guys say themselves they deliver money every monday to the country club in a brown bag- cash that was counted at the county level and sent out to the clubs representative. Defend and rationalize it all you want, its wrong like the rest of the program. Those involved in will get their just rewards on this side or the other. I just hope no kid gets seriously injured while on our watch! BY THE WAY what has happened to the link, is anybody else having trouble getting it to work?

Also I know for a fact that the money has never been delivered in a paper sack! that is total BS!
